PETERBOROUGH UTILITIES INC. PROPOSAL REQUEST #2019-15 The Campbellford-Seymour Generating Station (Plant 2) was constructed in 1994 and Peterborough Utilities Inc. (PUI) took over operation of the station in April 2018. The Generating Station is located at 870 County Road 38, Trent Hills, ON, on the Trent-Severn Waterway, operating as a “run-of-the-river” plant. The Plant consists of two (2) Vertical S-type turbines and synchronous generators with ratings of 2.0 MW each, for a total output of 4 MWs. Turbine maintenance was last performed in 2008. The current de-watering panels are made of concrete and PUI has determined it is not cost effective to utilize the current concrete panels for de-watering the units. As a result, PUI would like to have new steel de-watering panels designed, fabricated and delivered to site. Interested Proponents can view the Proposal Request at https://peterboroughutilities.bidsandtenders.ca and then register as Plan Takers to download the official documents. PROPOSALS will be available for online submission only through the bids&tenders website until 2:00:00 p.m. Local Time, Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
