CONSULTING SERVICES TO DEVELOP A LONG-TERM WATER UTILITY MASTER PLAN

The Peterborough Water Treatment and Distribution System will be required to meet future demand and service areas through planned expansion, while existing infrastructure is maintained and replaced accordingly.  The purpose of the Long‑Term Water Utility Master Plan is to provide an up-to-date assessment of the existing water treatment and distribution infrastructure and to evaluate and recommend options to expand the system for anticipated future growth.  The Master Plan will include completion of all requirements for a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for any identified water storage upgrades, if required.

Interested Proponents can view the Request for Proposal at https://peterboroughutilities.bidsandtenders.ca and then register as Plan Takers to download the official documents.

An informal meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peterborough Utilities Office located at 1867 Ashburnham Drive, Peterborough, Ontario.  Attendance at this pre‑proposal meeting is optional; however Proponents are advised that there will be no minutes of the meeting issued.

PROPOSALS IN SEALED ENVELOPES, addressed to Mr. Jim Ayrheart, Purchasing & Materials Manager, Peterborough Utilities Services Inc. and clearly marked “RFP #2017-12 - Consulting Services to Develop a Water Utility Long-Term Capital Prioritization Plan” will be received until no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Local Time, Thursday, January 11, 2018.

The Peterborough Utilities Commission may, at its sole discretion, accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and reserves the right to accept any proposal which it deems to be advantageous, regardless of the price(s) contained in that proposal.
