PLUMBING SERVICES FOR A WATER METER INSTALLATION PROJECT

The intent of this prequalification is to gather relative and current information that will allow Peterborough Utilities Group (PUG) to effectively assess your Company’s suitability in providing the goods and / or services to PUG as it relates to plumbing services for a water meter installation project in the City of Peterborough.

PUG is seeking a qualified and licensed plumbing company to assist in replacing existing 1-1/2”, 2” and 3” water meters in various industrial, institutional and commercial locations in the City of Peterborough.  There are approximately 70-75 water meters to be replaced.  PUG will supply the water meters.  The existing piping in some of the locations will require modifications to fit the new water meters.  The expected completion date for the water meter installation is December 31, 2021.

PUG intends to prequalify Respondents based on pre-determined evaluation criteria, and all Respondents will be notified in writing if they successfully pre-qualified to participate in the subsequent bid process, or if they have not been selected to move forward.

PREQUALIFICATIONS will be available for online submission only through the bids&tenders website until 2:00:00 p.m. Local Time, Friday, August 27, 2021.

PUG reserves the right to reject any prequalification if the evidence submitted by or investigation of such Respondent fails to satisfy PUG that such Respondent is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the project and complete the work as contemplated therein.
